OUTLAWS And Angels is the follow-up to the successful Live And Kickin' album recorded for Nelson's 70th birthday and it follows the same all-star format.
Hosted by James Caan, Nelson is joined on stage by Kid Rock, Keith Richards, Bob Dylan, Toby Keith, Carole King and Merle Haggard, not to mention Lee-Ann Womack and Al Green.
The 19-track album reads like a who's who of the music industry, and it's a great concept to team up the stars with Willie to sing their own songs.
It Will Always Be Me is Nelson's third album in 12 months and it gives him an opportunity to experiment with his music. As before he duets with guests, in this instance Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams and Paula Nelson. Refreshingly different.
