NO bonfire. No fireworks. Few fairy lights, and now no Santa Claus.

Does City of York Council only take an interest in its citizens when they reach voting age?

WHAT is Christmas without Santa?. Let's have him back in St Sampson's Square. It keeps the children and their parents happy.

We old timers like to see Santa too. I was looking forward to see him in York this year.

FATHER Christmas will be flying in to meet children in his grotto at St Edward the Confessor Church Hall on Saturday, December 4.

He has been invited as a special guest of York Blind And Partially Sighted Society at their inaugural Christmas Fayre.
