YOU reported that schools were being issued with kits to deal with head lice ("Lice attack plea", November 1).
The item had me somewhat bemused (or should it be amused) as it stated that the aim was to "irradiate" the head lice. Was this to make them glow in the dark and so make them easier to see and pick off?
Or did the author really mean eradicate?
