The bottom two teams will be automatically relegated from LHF Healthplan National League One next season, as the divisions restructure to accommodate the inclusion of Perpignan in Super League in 2006.
Two teams will be relegated from Super League this coming season, so NL1 needs to adapt to remain at its level of ten clubs. The top team in NL2 will still be promoted, with the next five teams going into promotion play-offs with the team that finishes eighth in NL1.
