MARTIN Lunn has a twinkle in his eye.
The York astronomer has been studying the science behind the Star Of Bethlehem and will be discussing the latest theories at a lecture in York tonight.
Mr Lunn believes the Three Wise Men may well have been astronomers too.
That explains how they were able to follow the solar trail to a Bethlehem stable without using an A-Z.
It is, perhaps, best that they do not have to undertake a similar journey today.
Their heavenly calculations would be sent haywire by all those giant inflatable Santas.
