SO that York council, who could not manage a free booze-up in a brewery, can justify ten per cent increase in council tax, they have, at quite an expense, sent out cards with three increases to tick - but not a box with no increase.
Would the Evening Press arrange with the council to be an independent counter of these returned cards?
I do not trust the council to give the rate payers the truth about the returned cards.
We will be told that all cards returned show a caring people that they would like a ten per cent increase in council tax.
