CUEBALL 'A' stormed to a resounding 9-1 win against Dringhouses in York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one.

Highlights were Lindsey Sawyers' 100 finish, 21 from Angie Hields and 23 by Bev Harton.

The Carol Brayshaw - Yvonne Ruddock partnership saved Dringhouses from being whitewashed.

Wendy Smith closed 68 as Cygnet 'A' cleaned up in the pairs for a 6-3 win against Holgate. Babs Harrison starred as Slip 'A' won by the same score at Blacksmith's.

Independent's Sandra Bruce hit the tons as they were beaten by Leeman 'B' team's finishing power.

Karen Hodgson was involved in Clifton's two points as they fell to the superior scoring from Cygnet 'C'.

Sarah Jackson hit a maximum but it was not enough to save Flag at Slip 'A', whose mother - daughter combination Brenda and Claire Robinson won the decider.

Denise Fowler and Joyce Swainsbury took the decider for division two leaders Shepherd 'A' after Janice Davies - Ann Barker had put Tang Hall WMC on level terms.

Cygnet 'B' recovered from a 4-2 deficit against Severus to win all the pairs, with Cindy Benton - Maureen Murray clinching the decider.

Maggie Schofield - Ann Brownbridge combined to secure Jubilee victory at Slipper.

Leeman 'C' regained top spot in division three, Sharon Rishworth - Barbara Russell securing the 5-4 victory. Tracey Yeomans - Peggy Rose did the same for Leeman 'A' at their 'D' team's expense.

Sue Fay, partnering Jacky Sargeant, were the match- winners for Shepherd 'B' at under-strength Burton WMC.

Turf's victory was gained by the Stacey Beavers - Joanne Whitty pairing against Volunteer 'A', whose 'B' team snookered depleted Cueball 5-4.

Helen Kitchen (140, 100) won the opener for St Clement's but her team-mates could not add to their score against Woolpack.

Phil Smith (123, 100, 100 and bull finish) gamed in a superb 16 darts for Leeman 'A' in their York John Smith's Mixed Darts League division one match against Beeswing.

Beeswing went on to clinch the match through Jim Hawksby - Janice Potts, with team-mate Brian Harden also including a bull finish.

Pete Leake's 20 darter for CueBall inspired them to a 8-2 win at Slipper, whose Doreen Johnstone did well with scores of 134, 140 and 100 for 25 darts.

Huntington SC had a 22 darter from Tracey Farmeary and Dave O'Hara notching a maximum.

Division two team Collingwood ran out 8-3 winners against Cygnet 'D', while Windmill sailed to a comfortable 9-2 win with John Smith gaming in 21 against Victoria Vaults.
