Rufforth Primary, one of the York area's smallest schools, are riding high on the crest of a sporting wave.
Their football team have reached the semi-finals of the York Parent Teacher Association Five-A-Side competition.
They have won all but one of their league matches so far and are through to the next round of the York Schools Cup.
Rufforth also reached the finals of the York Partnership Indoor Athletics Tournament when they finished fourth, just a few points behind the team who finished second.
