GILLYGATE double killer John Paul Marshall was this afternoon found guilty of two murders.
A Leeds jury took less than two hours to decide that he murdered Daniel Wall, 27, and Kevin Mulgrew, 38.
Judge James Stewart QC told Marshall to expect a life sentence but the minimum jail term he must serve will be decided tomorrow.
Members of Mr Wall's family shouted: "Rot in Hell!" and ran shouting and screaming from the courtroom as the verdicts were announced.
The court heard how Marshall had smashed the two mens' heads with repeated blows from a heavy lamp stand as they slept in his council bedsit.
