MRS M Dale openly declares to being a non-believer and doesn't attend church complains about paying £80 for a Canon from the Minster for her husband's funeral (Letters, January 14).
I am not sure her parish priest would have charged less but he would probably liked to have been included. This smacks of hypocrisy.
