AFTER the tragic earthquake and tsunami in Asia, we all must be proud to be British.
Our Government should be praised for being one of the first to contribute, but it is the British public who deserve the greatest praise.
They immediately rallied to collect funds, emergency supplies and send aid. We were among the first countries to show compassion constructively.
Our faithful British soldiers also set a superb example. Volunteers presented themselves promptly, and I am sure their work out there will be of the highest standard. Bravo to all concerned.
