I THANK the people who came to my aid when I fell in Rougier Street, York on Friday January 7.
A big thank you to the two off-duty firemen, the young woman from Norwich Union, and the lady who offered to escort me to hospital. I also wish to thank the two ambulance men and later the staff in the accident and emergency unit at York Hospital. My dislocated shoulder is painful, but healing.
Mollie Monkman,
Rawcliffe, York.
...and from me
I recently went to the endoscopy unit at York Hospital and must now thank all the staff for their kindness, and professional care while I was there. They are all a credit to the hospital and the National Health Service.
H Seavers,
Hubert Street, York.
