LAST week, gale force winds were blowing in during the night into the early morning.
Upon hearing this news from our weather forecasters on the television, what did the great British public do? Well, without any thought of the consequences of their actions, quite a lot of the British public put their wheelie bins out the night before they were due for collection, and I even spotted newspapers and glass blowing around.
In the words of Victor Meldrew, "I don't believe it"!
