I AM confused. Are any trees going to be cut down in Tower Gardens ('Trouble at the top', March 1)?
Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing at the council, or do they spend too much time sitting on their elbows?
While we are on the subject of council efficiency, I was pleased to see gritters and road sweepers out during the recent cold spell.
The gritter came along at 6am and the road sweeper swept it up again half an hour later.
No wonder the council has spent all its gritting budget.
