IN reply to P Newton's letter 'Sod off Royal Ascot' (March 12), I've lived in South Bank for 30 years, for the last 18 years off Tadcaster Road especially to be near York Racecourse which has been there long before any of us.
Am I the only person in York who is looking forward to this special meeting?
I suggest P Newton moves away from the area, preferably to another planet.
