The York FA Sunday Afternoon Cup will be a scholarly affair with York St John's going through to face College of Law.

St John's beat Turf on penalties after drawing 2-2 after extra time. A Turf own goal, combined with a solo Richard McGough effort, put St John's 2-0 up before Tim Hudson and Christopher Sparkes equalised. St John's 'keeper John King saved two spot-kicks as they won 4-1.

College of Law beat Melbourne 2-0 with Lionel Doyle and Conor McGuire breaking the deadlock in the last ten minutes.
