Young rugby league referees Shane Daniel and Gareth Evans have been upgraded to officiate at LHF Healthplan National League Three level.
The York duo, both 19, will start refereeing NL3 matches when that season kicks off next month.
York Rugby League Referees' Society secretary Stuart Evans said: "This proves the match official development programme is working with its camps at area, regional, national and advanced level."
