THE capacity of the main enclosures and hospitality areas, which are all ticket, is 50,000 for each day of Royal Ascot at York, plus 10,000 in the Rails Enclosure.

Gold Cup Day tickets on Thursday, June 16 for the Grandstand and Yorkshire Course Enclosures and all Gold Cup Day hospitality packages have sold out.

Tickets for the Grandstand Enclosure have sold out for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Admission to the main Grandstand Enclosure for Royal Ascot at York costs £50 per person, plus parking.

Tickets for the Yorkshire Course Enclosure cost £18 per person, plus parking.

Prices for parking start at £5 and will guarantee booked space and security.

No refunds are available. All tickets for public enclosures are sold on a non-transferrable and non-refundable basis.

Accompanied children aged 16 and under are admitted free to all enclosures, except the Royal Enclosure where special restrictions apply.

Low-price tickets for Royal Ascot go on sale to York residents on Monday.

There is a special incentive offer for group bookings of 16 or more people attending the Grandstand and York Enclosure, offering free minibus/coach parking and one free entrance ticket for the group organiser. All applications for 16 or more tickets must be submitted in writing.

Visitors in the Royal Enclosure and Grandstand Enclosure will have access to the Paddock, including the Winner's Enclosure and Parade Ring.

Grandstand ticket holders can reach the Paddock using the walkway behind the main Grandstand or by walking along the path adjacent to the running rail in front of the Royal Enclosure. There is no access to the Paddock from the Yorkshire Course Enclosure or Rails Enclosure.

There will not be a crche at Royal Ascot at York because there is no practical area within the permanent facilities.
