YORK'S festival programme is undoubtedly livening up the city centre for shoppers and tourists.
Chinese dragons and Viking warriors have already entertained us.
Another attraction is Dance Week York, when the city will hop, bop and skip to all manner of foot-tapping rhythms.
Prominent among these is the infectious Bhangra beat. With this in mind, and knowing that the Ales Angels movie premieres tonight at City Screen (Newman and Scorcese have been invited), our new city centre supremo could market York as the place where Hollywood meets Bollywood.
