IT'S high time the state of the hedgerow behind ASDA at Monks Cross was brought to the attention of your Environmentally-aware readers.
The area is thick with discarded waste polythene, which does not bio-degrade and is not going to magically disappear. Therefore the responsibility falls on the shoulders of local business people to get their heads together and do something about it.
How can we encourage our children to look after and protect our environment when their parents can't?
