I MUST put pen to paper on this bit of sensationalist journalism
("Counting the cost of a life", March 26). While I, as a motorcyclist of 25 years, do not like to see the loss of a fellow biker, I must take issue with the manner in which this article was put forward.
Surely a better balance would have been to include motorcycle death figures along with other transport deaths. The way in which the article reads is that car fatalities do not cost the same as motorcycle fatalities.
There is never any sensationalising of car fatalities - so why motorcycles?
