Dringhouses have retained the Leeper Hare York and District Football League premier division title after winning 4-1 at Dunnington.

The champions had to come from behind to claim all three points after Mike Gore's free-kick gave the hosts an early lead.

On the stroke of half-time Jamie Bonarius equalised and Dringhouses went in front with a Craig Atkinson penalty and added further goals from John Lake and Jimmy McMurray.

Huntington, who were the only side that could have stopped Dringhouses from winning the title, had to settle for a point at Kartiers where Glen Littlewood hit an injury-time equaliser for the home side.

Andy Anderson gave Pocklington the lead inside three minutes in their home fixture with T & L but the Sellby side responded with goals from Steve Rowbottom (2) and a goal each from John Ginty and Paul Tantem.

Nestl need to win just one of their three remaining games to take the Division One title after they hammered Wilberfoss 6-0 thanks to goals by Matty White (2), Danny Gray (2), Danny Leach and Mick Robinson which stretched the confectionary side's unbeaten run to 13 games.

A Stuart Briggs goal two minutes from time earned Selby RSSC their first away point of the season as they drew 2-2 at Hamilton Panthers. Pete Stephenson had given the Selby side the lead but it was immediately cancelled out by Andrew Jones. Steve Gagen, on his first team debut, hit Panthers' second goal.

Two goals from Simon Walters and a James Cook strike had given Stamford Bridge a 3-1 lead at home to Easingwold but the introduction of Gary Raper on 62 minutes turned the game in favour of Easingwold who won 5-3 with goals from Andrew Metcalfe (senior), Andrew Metcalfe (junior), Dave Hardy, Micky Raper and Mark Coulson.

Tockwith moved top of Division Two and condemned opponents Stillington to relegation after beating them 4-0 with goals from Graham Hutchinson(2), Andy Wilson and Ben Raybold.

Strensall are favourites to join Stillington after they were beaten 3-2 at Barmby Moor where Phil Goddard (2) and Tom Gibson scored for Barmby. Strensall replied through an own goal and Chris Banfield.

Two goals from Paul Shah and a Jason Roughly hat-trick helped Riccall beat Amotherby, who have gone five games without a win, 5-0.

Hemingbrough climbed into second place in Division Three after beating Norton 3-1. All their goals came in the first half through Craig Welford, Danny Smith and Chris Caudwell.

Moor Lane have now gone five games unbeaten after winning at Cawood 3-0 with goals from Gary Tutt, Andrew Kenyon and a Simon Gaines penalty.

Bottom of the table Wheldrake are still looking for their first win of the season after going down 5-2 at LNER Builders where Tudor Carrington, Steve Crosby, Paul Green and Liam King (2) scored for the hosts.

Rawcliffe were leading by two Matt Fern goals at half-time at Heworth but the home side rallied in the second period to win 6-4 with goals from Jamie Allerton, Mick Outram, Paul Flint (3) and Mick O'Donnell. Rawcliffe's second half goals came from Darren Mallinson and another Fern goal.
