CHRIS Nelson never acted like a victim. She responded to cancer with a defiant cheerfulness that was inspirational to all.
Chris was determined to beat the disease, and she came close.
With the support of her many friends and an astonishing complementary medicine regime, it seemed she had won the battle.
Unfortunately, she died after the cancer took to her lungs.
Chris may be gone, but her indefatigable spirit will live on in many hearts.
