I HAVE just read about the plans to knock down Kwik Save on Hull Road, York.
Is there a chance it will be saved? Has someone finally shown anysense in this matter?
Where would the elderly people and young mums go if our Kwik Save went? For the elderly, myself included, it would mean a long walk to Tang Hall Lane shops or a daily trip into town.
Anyway, where else around here could you be treated so kindly by staff and then go for a welcome cup of tea or hot snack in the cafe? Long may the bulldozers stay out.
