HARROGATE Town have it all to play for in the match of the season at Wetherby Road tomorrow.

They host league leaders Southport in a game that will be the biggest factor in who wins the title and who gets the final play-off spot.

A point for Southport should be enough to secure the Nationwide North title and one automatic promotion spot to the Conference proper barring a four goal win at Droylsden over Worksop.

But anything less than all three points will spell the end for Harrogate Town's play-off ambitions - and even that will not be enough in itself to finish in the top five, with results needed to go in their favour in the Hucknall v Altrincham and Nuneaton Borough v Kettering matches.

The good news for Town boss Neil Aspin - who was given a two-year contract this week - is that goalkeeper Paul Pettinger will be available despite his red card at Worksop last week with his one-match ban not coming into effect until May 7 - the Nationwide North play-off final, should Town make it through - or next season.

Midfielder Dominic Krief will also be back in the squad after completing a two-match suspension.

The highest crowd of the season is expected at Wetherby Road, with Southport fans eager to cheer their team to the title, with children under-12 going free when accompanied by an adult.

Southport were relegated from the Conference two seasons ago but know victory will see them back up again facing the likes of York City and Scarborough.

Town's play-off options

To reach the play-offs, Harrogate Town MUST win and either Kettering or Altrincham must lose or draw.

If Nuneaton draw with Kettering, Harrogate Town will go above them on goal difference and qualify.

If Nuneaton beat Kettering, Harrogate Town will go one point above.

If Altrincham draw or lose at Hucknall Town, Harrogate Town will go above them.

If either Kettering or Altrincham win, they will finish fourth.

If they both win, Harrogate Town miss out.

If Altrincham lose and Harrogate draw, taking them level on points, Altrincham will qualify for the last spot because of a better goal difference.
