German challenger Martillo and French raider Valixir have been supplemented for the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot at York on Tuesday.

The pair were added at a cost of £20,000 each to the Group One contest over a mile and it has attracted a total of 18 horses at yesterday's confirmation stage.

Martillo, trained by Ralf Suerland, won a Group Two race at Saint-Cloud at the expense of the Geoff Wragg-trained Autumn Glory on his latest start.

Valixir, owned by the Aga Khan and trained by Andre Fabre, is fresh from a two-length victory over Elvstroem in the Group One Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp last month.

Heading the acceptors is Michael Jarvis's multiple Group One winner Rakti, while Australian ace Starcraft is set to have his first run in the northern hemisphere for new trainer Luca Cumani.

Godolphin still have four possibles - Byron, Grand Emporium, With Reason and Sundrop - while Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien can choose from Antonius Pius and Airwave. Soviet Song, runner-up to Refuse To Bend in the race last year, has been left in by James Fanshawe, while Italian trainer Emilio Borromeo has confirmed the five-year-old Prince Kirk.

Completing the list are Akimbo, Babodana, Hurricane Love, Mac Love, Nayyir and Pastoral Pursuits.
