IN order for Frank Healy to state that "people have abused the car parking facilities for many years", surely some markings would have been necessary to tell "people" where they weren't supposed to park ('Dismay as store cracks down on parking', June 13).
I don't remember ever seeing any such markings, and never realised I was infringing on the rights of the working men's club members.
Also, while two hours may be enough for Mr Healy to do his weekly shop at Morrisons, it isn't enough for anyone wanting to shop and, for example, have their hair cut.
And there really isn't anywhere else to park in Acomb. I think Morrisons may have shot themselves in the foot!
