Malton and Norton Golf Club. Managing Secretary. Malton and Norton is a private members Club established in 1910, with almost 900 members. It is a 27 hole course with excellent practice facilities, a driving range and short game practice area. It is a popular venue with visitors during the season. Due to the retirement of the present Managing Secretary, the Club is inviting applications for the post, ideally with a starting date of

1st August 2005. The successful candidate will be responsible for the

overall management of the Club in line with policies determined by the Management Committee and will demonstrate the following abilities: Management ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of staff. Good communication skills both verbally and in writing. A broad knowledge of relevant current legislation, including Employment, Health and Safety and Licensing laws. I.T skills applicable to dealing with a four computer network, Club and handicap administration, payroll software, creditor payments including Natwest Bankline and VAT returns.
