YOUR coverage of the Royal Ascot races from start to finish has been excellent and I'd like to thank you very much - my only grumble was that Her Majesty's rainy photo was in black and white and she'd a beautiful violet coloured outfit on.
We showed the Southerners we could organise a first class Ascot just as well as them and our fashions are just as good as theirs. We did an admirable job despite grey skies at the start of the week.
