ANN Sharpley (Scarcroft) won the York Ladies Evening Bowls League two-wood singles title at West Bank.
She easily won the final against Judith Howat (Minister) after defeating Lynne Tattersall (Clarence Gardens) 15-7 after 16 ends.
Howat, who has only been bowling for a few years, beat Roth Watson (Scarcroft) 15-12 after it was level at 11-11 after 14 ends in the other semi-final.
Osbaldwick's lead at the top of division two of the York Amateur Bowling Association League was reduced after a 7-1 defeat at the hands of Heworth Cons.
Osbaldwick also lost to Stewart in the Fellowship Cup by more than 30 shots.
Two wins out of three for Hull Road Park and Shipton have eased their division one relegation problems leaving Dringhouses and Nestl Rowntree trailing by nine points.
There were few surprises in the cup games but Burnholme of division three beat second division Heworth Cons after an extra end with the score 88-88 after 21 ends.
