Production Planner

We are a highly successful, expanding and forward thinking organisation within the Kingspan Group Plc. Kingspan Metl - Con Limited are at the leading edge of the building industry supplying steel components to the construction industry. We are seeking to recruit for a Production Planner to work within our busy planning office. Key requirements of the role will be: Receiving and evaluating customer orders in order to plan, schedule and issue production plans to fulfil customer orders and requirements, Ensure that factory capacity, manning and material is planned in order to meet agreed customer requirements and expectations. The successful candidate will possess: A good understanding of ERP/MRP systems and procedures, The ability to liaise with the IT section to continuously develop, enhance and improve the business ERP system. Measure, monitor and report the progress of the production lines against the production schedule. Co-ordinate regular progress meetings with direct and indirect sections, which review, establish and implement the required countermeasures to resolve schedule issues. The ability to review required sales forecast information in order to the plan and allocate material requirements. The right individual for this role will be a strong and confident communicator, be able to operate to tight time deadlines and possess an education of either degree level or equivalent.
