We really do need to break the shackles of this awful double act. They have drained the natural vigor and enthusiasm out of our national character as they changed seats at Westminster over the last 60 years of mirage peaks and punishing troughs.
As our national assets continue to be snapped up abroad, leaving us with an under trained work force, no wonder our 'United Kingdom' partners can't get out quick enough.
The overwhelming majority of us have no stake in this partnership.
