PUB-GOERS have until the end of this month to make their nominations for The Press Pub Awards 2009/10.
We launched our awards scheme in November, aiming to recognise and reward the trade’s best performers in our region.
Nominations close at the end of March, after which the judging panel will assess all entries and make their decisions.
Hundreds of nominations have already been received, but there is still time to have your say. Entry forms are available on our website.
If you do not have internet access, look out in The Press next week for a printed form.
There are awards for best community pub, best food pub, best real ale pub, landlord of the year, best entertainment, best outdoor area, and overall best pub.
The fewest nominations so far are for the entertainment and outdoor area awards, and we would especially encourage drinkers to have their say on those categories.
