Students will have the chance to learn how to eat well on a budget when the Cooking Bus visits the University of York.
The Cooking Bus, an articulated lorry that transforms into a cookery classroom, will be on campus for a week with its staff teaching students new recipes and offering advice on food budgeting.
Students will be encouraged to cook with their friends as a way of passing on what they have learned.
The bus is operated by Focus On Food, a campaign to promote better eating habits through the teaching of cookery skills.
The visit of the bus was made possible with support from the York Annual Fund.
