RACE-GOERS flocked to the Valentine’s Day Sinnington Point-to-Point.
The event at at the Duncombe Park estate in Helmsley saw the first of the six steeplechases, the Novice and Veteran Riders Race, won by Charlotte Cundall who narrowly beat her father, Chris Cundall, to the finish on her horse, Major Shark.
In the Mixed Open the horses Laertes and Elizadoalott were the leading two, with Tom Grenall winning on Laertes.
He took another win in the Members race, this time on Gunner Jack. The Confined Hunts race saw the biggest field of the day with 17 runners and was won by Henry Brooke on Pen Gwen.
