Nestlé Rowntree RUFC smashed Scunthorpe sixths 51-0.
After a seven week break, Trees were delighted with the form they showed although the game was not as one-sided as the scoreline suggested.
The two packs were evenly matched and Rowntrees had to work hard to defend their line on several occasions.
But with the ball in hand, Nestlé’s backs outclassed their opponents and scored some great long range tries.
Scorers were number eight Brendan Gamble, centres Mike Winfield and Lee Underwood, full-back Mike Chapman and teenage Jack Gabbetis, who put on a superb display on the wing to score five tries and three conversions in only his third game for the club.
