THIRSK and Sowerby Harriers runner Oliver Harrison was 37th in a field of 113 for the Guisborough Woods race. Phil Sanderson, of NFR, won in a time of 40 minutes, with Harrison clocking 50-40.
Club-mate Ernie Huck was 97th in 62-11 and Steve Harrison came 106th in 64-53.
Andrew Halliday claimed another top three finish in the Solihull Centurion Grand Prix series of five-mile multi-terrain races. On Sunday, he finished second in 27-30, having finished first in November and third in December. Noel Clough and Pete Wilkin were in cyclo cross action at Todmorden, with Clough finishing fourth and Wilkin coming fourth in the veterans’ section and second in the V50 category.
