AN ambulance has been involved in a crash while on its way to a 999 call in North Yorkshire.
The accident happened at 10.50am in Hungate, in the centre of Pickering.
The ambulance was heading to a medical emergency in the area when it collided with a grey Peugeot 307.
Nobody in the ambulance was hurt but a woman from the Peugeot is currently being treated by paramedics. The road is partially blocked, but not closed.
Another ambulance was sent to cover the original emergency.
Traffic Constable Richard Hammond, on the scene, said: "We are going to be looking at CCTV and there are several witnesses who have come forward for us to speak to."
