MY CAR has now been broken into for the third time.
The first time they got away with a game console my daughter had forgotten to take out of the car.
A week later it happened again, but I’d completely emptied the car so they left with nothing.
And now it’s happened again. What is wrong with these people? On advice of the police, I no longer leave anything of any value whatsoever in the car and I leave the glove box open at night to show there is nothing in there either.
I could end up paying £150 excess on my insurance on a weekly basis at this rate – I think not. I’ll just keep filling the hole myself with bodyfiller.
I know of a few booby-traps I could set up to deter brainless, would-be thieves, but it would mean them leaving my driveway with a few scratches, and I don’t want a law-suit against me for innocently protecting my property.
I just wish they’d pack it in.
A Logan, Tennent Road, York.
