EVERYTHING’S all Wright at Dunnington Squash Club.
Three generations of the same family – George Wright senior, aged 70, George Wright junior, 41, and Jack Wright, 13 – all competed in the recent annual handicap tournament at the Dunnington & Grimston Sports Club.
Wright senior said: “There’s a real love of squash. We have always been a sporting family.
“I took up squash when I couldn’t play rugby any more. It was something else to do.
“My son started playing when he was a lad and has been playing for the team for the last ten years, while Jack has been playing for the junior team for around five months.
“We all had been knocked out by the third round but it is great.
“My son and I played in the veterans’ tournament – that was a bit of a shock.”
