MARTYN Turner, (19, 17, 20) beat an unlucky Iain Smith (18, 19) 3-2 in the latest £1,000 York Open Darts competition qualifier.
Smith had darts at the double in the decider on board one.
Lutz Leutzch (17, 17, 18) played well to beat Andy Lawson (20) 3-1 on board two.
The last heat will be tomorrow at the Crescent Club. Register by 8.15pm, toe the oche at 8.30pm.
The finals will be on Friday, December 18, at 8pm.
