ONE of television’s longest-running weathermen was today hoping for a sunny outlook on the fans front as he arrived in York to sign copies of his new book.
John Kettley has penned a mixture of tales from Yorkshire as well as his decades of forecasting on the BBC. The 57-year-old – immortalised in song through A Tribe Of Toffs’s 1988 top 20 hit John Kettley Is A Weatherman – was appearing at Waterstone’s in High Ousegate to sign copies of Weatherman: 50 Years Of Extreme Weather, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
