YOU published a letter of mine earlier in the year regarding the loss of bus service along Station Road, Poppleton and Boroughbridge Road from Station Road to Low Poppleton Lane.
The loss was brought about by the rerouting of the First No 10 service due to the opening of the “new” Manor School.
Councillor Galloway said a new service was being provided by Transdev Harrogate & District at 90-minute intervals that would adequately replace the half-hourly service.
I note (The Press, November 23) that Transdev Harrogate & District is to withdraw this service and I would like to know what the council is now going to do for the people who rely on it? There is no reason why the No 10 cannot alternately go via Low Poppleton Lane and Station Road, which would then give a one-hourly service to all.
