ELLIE WHYTOCK scored the only goal of the game as Stamford Bridge Under-11s beat hosts Tockwith in the City of York Girls’ Football League.
The visitors created chances in the first half, but failed to hit the target, while Tockwith’s Stella Cross shone.
Midway through the second half Lynch won the ball and raced towards the corner before turning and passing to Whytock, who beat the Tockwith goalkeeper to seal a 1-0 win.
