SELBY GC professional Nick Ludwell finished joint third in the Northern Professional Golfers’ Association Mansell Finishes Winter Series pro-am event at St Annes old links course.
Ludwell was among a group of five players who each carded two-under-par rounds of 70, two shots shy of winner Steve Parry from Bolton.
• Emma and Richard Brown, alongside Pat and Eddie Ruddock, totalled 84 points to win the Malton & Norton GC Children In Need mixed team competition, which raised more than £250.
Second place on 77 points was claimed by Liz and Ian Jones in tandem with Val and Frank McKendry.
