Thorpe United kept up the pressure on the top sides in division two of the York FA Under-19s Football League after a 2-0 victory over Huntington.
They went 2-0 up before half-time through goals from Dan Montgomery and Will Ramsay.
In the only game of the day to beat the weekend deluge, Huntington rallied in the second half to prevent Thorpe adding to their total.
