WHAT is City of York Council going to do next? We have had the Barbican bodge-up following with homeless shelter farce, then the council demanding up to 50 per cent of developers’ housing projects are for social housing, so no building firms will come near York.

Now thoughts go towards congestion fees for vehicles. Has the council taken into their heads the subject of residents’ parking fees, such as I pay?

If this project comes online, does that not mean we pay twice? Just who in the council comes up with these ideas? Is York council bust financially, that they come up ill-thought projects to rile the residents?

If charges are to be levied on firms with their own parking places, would that not put at risk of jobs? Firms could pull out of York, rather than pay such fees.
