POLICE searching for Claudia Lawrence have warned they will be knocking on the doors of men known to have had relationships with the missing York chef if they fail to come forward soon.

Speaking to a national paper seven months after 35-year-old Claudia disappeared, Detective Superintendent Ray Galloway, who is leading the suspected murder inquiry, said anyone who was refusing to co-operate with the investigation, for various reasons, including fears of their affairs being exposed, ran the risk of being paid a house visit by detectives.

“We have got to the point where there is definitely frustration in the investigation team as a result of some men who are less than candid when we approach them,” he said.
