John Whitelock and Cathy Lewis, marketing managers with Nestlé in York, taste the Chompies biteables made by pupils at Alne Primary School.
As part of a project which involved all areas of the curriculum, the children worked in groups to plan and create their own biscuits, then put together costing sheets and advertisements, including TV adverts to display to Nestlé.
The children, from the school near Easingwold, were inspired by reality TV series The Apprentice and the exercise gave them an insight into how to market, promote and present a product.
