Clifton ‘B’ continued their excellent form with an 8-1 away win over Tadcaster ‘A’ in York Badminton League mixed one.
They also beat Riverside ‘A’ 6-3 at Poppleton Sports Centre. Erik Wagenaars and Ronnie Davison were in excellent form in both matches.
RI Monday/Wednesday ‘B’ were given a tough match by Shepherds ‘A’ before winning 5-4. Tim Jarvis and Sandra Pauw were in good form.
Clifton ‘A’ made sure of runners-up spot in mixed one with a 5-4 away win over Tadcaster ‘A’.
The battle of the bottom clubs in mixed two saw Selby/Drax ‘B’ beat Riverside ‘B’ 7-2. Lisa Ward and Naz ‘Shefta were the pick of the Selby pairings.
RI Tuesday/Thursday ‘A’ closed their mixed two season with an excellent 5-4 away win over a strong Rowntrees team.
